- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I never made it to scheduling an appointment. When I called to set up an appointment, I was asked personal and medical info over the phone was told that the Dr will review let me know if he would accept me as a new patient. Someone from the office called me back and informed me that the Dr does not prescribe a certain medication I was on and I explained to her that this was no problem and she told me that the Dr will again review and they will call me back. After several calls to them to follow up on the status of my "review", 2 weeks passed with no call. I called back and was told the Dr had not made a determination yet and was told to wait, quote "we can't rush the doctor"). I called back again several days later and learned that I was not accepted because of the medication issue, I'm not going to beg to be seen by this doctor or press the matter any further. What I'm upset about is that NO ONE had intentions of calling me back letting me know the determination. No excuse or apology from the office manager at all. I was an office manager at a medical practice and NEVER would think of treating a patient or prospective patient this way.July 04, 2017by Tina Jones
